Book Review: Models by Mark Manson

Models by Mark Manson is not a book that teaches you how to attract women by knowing what or how to talk, it is a book that inspires you to change your life and personality so you really wish to attract them by first being honest with yourself and discovering your own expressions and actions.

Instead of telling you what or how to say something, Models shows you and helps you realize that to change and improve your masculinity you need to be honest as you do pursue the girl you really are interested in. If you build rapport with a woman and you really like her, being willing to express it and being willing to forget her when rejected is what does differentiates you from those who “act their way to attraction”.

Models is not a book for you to read, learn pickup lines, and then go tell women being certain you know what works. Models is a book that shows you that your original words, phrases and expressions are what differentiate you from those who do not wish to attract the women they really like.

Models help you discover that once you build rapport with a woman it is natural and great to ask her out if you do like her which is more valuable than asking out the whole room with “lines that should work”.

It shows you that being a slob is detrimental to you, but what really matters is that you see and understand this as an opportunity for internal change and not a definite state in which you’ll forever lose dating opportunities.

Models shows you and does not tell you how to attract women. It inspires you to change internally who you are and to express your masculinity in an honest and respectful way with those women you really care for.
