The iPhone 15 is the 2023 iPhone model. It features 5G and 4G Internet connectivity and can serve as a Wi-Fi Hotspot for other devices. I currently pair my iPhone to a Linux laptop and can say it provides better Internet performance than any other smartphone I have owned. The iPhone 15 can work as an alternative to a dedicated Cellular Hotspot.
When configuring the Hotspot feature, I recommend you first decide which signal to use, 5G or 4G. This depends on your carrier and current location. In my case, I use 5G as it works great in my home office. You should try switching between 5G and 4G if your performance suffers.
Then you should set up a password or passphrase and set the 'Maximize Compatibility' option within the Hotspot configuration. This will help you connect to third-party devices more easily.
The iPhone 15 serves as a great alternative to a Cellular Hotspot and can help you work almost everywhere you go within a city.
